Privacy policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This overview explains how Rezerve handles personal data at platform level. It is a structured baseline and should be completed with final controller and processor details before production launch.

Controller and scope

Rezerve processes personal data needed to provide account access, booking workflows, notifications, storage and customer support.

At launch, the final text should identify the controller, provide a direct privacy contact and explain which processing belongs to the platform and which belongs to individual businesses using the system.

Categories, purposes and recipients

The platform may process identification and contact data, booking metadata, communication logs, device or security data and user settings.

The privacy notice should clearly explain:

  • the purposes of each processing activity
  • the legal basis used for each purpose
  • the processors and infrastructure providers involved
  • whether transfers outside the EEA take place

Retention and data subject rights

The notice must explain how long categories of data are retained, how users can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and how they can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

If automated decision-making or profiling is introduced later, this page should be expanded before the feature goes live.
